ANOTHER TRAINING RECORD FOR THE FAMILY-RUN GROUP OF COMPANIES

FRICKE Group takes on 98 talented young people

The FRICKE Group is continuing to focus on training this year. On 1st August, a total of 98 young people across Germany started their training or dual study programmes with the Heeslingen-based family business. This brings the total number of apprentices and dual students within the FRICKE Group up to 308, which is a new record for the group. Students interested in applying can find out more about the FRICKE apprenticeships at the group’s Apprentice Info Day at their Heeslingen site on 27th September 2024, or online at karriere.fricke.de. Applications for the 2024 training year are still being accepted.

Even after over 100 years of company history, the FRICKE Group is one of the most important training companies in the Elbe-Weser region. This year a total of 98 young people across Germany opted to do an apprenticeship or dual study programme with the company. With a total of 308 apprentices and dual students, the FRICKE Group has now set a new training record.

On 1st August, twelve aspiring wholesale and foreign trade management clerks, two IT specialists, two e-commerce clerks, eight dual students, three warehouse logistics specialists and two mechatronics technicians for systems engineering started at the FRICKE Group headquarters in Heeslingen. A welcome event was organised to give the new starters a deeper insight into the group, where they were also welcomed by the management team.

Three agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technicians started their training at FRICKE Landmaschinen at the beginning of August, with three automotive mechatronics technicians also starting at FRICKE Nutzfahrzeuge.

The high regard for vocational training is a tradition within the FRICKE Group, and this is demonstrated by their modern and versatile training programme. Apprentices and dual students not only get to know different departments and companies within the group, but also have the opportunity to gain practical experience at one of the many locations abroad. In addition to this practical experience, the chance to work for several weeks in other European countries or at locations in the USA or India opens up numerous opportunities for personal development. The group also offers fantastic opportunities for apprentices to think outside the box. In addition to the apprentice exchange programme between FRICKE Landmaschinen in Lower Saxony and FRICKE Landtechnik in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, apprentices also take part in exciting excursions to the CLAAS production facilities in Harsewinkel and Le Mans in France.

In addition to the professional advantages, the FRICKE Group offers its apprentices and dual students many other benefits. The regular trainee events are particularly popular. From barbecues with the management team to exclusive event partnerships such as last weekend’s Ferdinands Feld festival featuring a FRICKE stage with regional DJs, FRICKE offers numerous highlights for apprentices and students.

“We are committed to meeting the challenge of attracting, nurturing and retaining talented individuals year on year. When it comes to training, we look for talented young people at any stage in their careers. We are constantly reinventing ourselves to ensure that we continue to be an attractive employer,” explains Carsten Deter, Head of Human Resources at the FRICKE Group.

Students who are interested in an apprenticeship or dual study programme at the FRICKE Group starting in 2025 can find out everything there is to know about the range of courses on offer at the Apprentice Info Day. In addition to representatives from the various specialist departments, current apprentices and dual students will also give an insight into everyday life at the FRICKE Group. Prospective students will also receive valuable application tips and a deeper insight into the family business. The event will take place on 27th September from 3pm to 5pm at the FRICKE Group site in Heeslingen. Prospective students can also obtain exciting insights into the business via the company's own blog f.inside.

The company is still accepting applications for the 2024 training year, so latecomers still have the chance to sign up for this fantastic training programme.
