Educational trip for the master class from Kirchheim unter Teck

Aspiring operations managers visit the FRICKE Group in Heeslingen

On 22nd and 23rd May 2023, the FRICKE Group welcomed members of the master class from the Max Eyth School in Kirchheim unter Teck, which has been training journeymen and technicians in agricultural machinery technology for over 40 years. During their two-day stay, FRICKE offered the aspiring technicians a fantastic programme of informative lectures and exciting insights into the workings of various company divisions.

The FRICKE Group has been regularly hosting master classes from the field of agricultural engineering for 15 years. At the end of May, the FRICKE Group welcomed students from the Max Eyth School in Kirchheim unter Teck for the first time. Following the arrival of the 25 students on 22nd May, Head of Controlling Niels Günster gave a presentation about the FRICKE Group, with a focus on the business management of a specialist agricultural company. After that, Head of the GRANIT Service Centre Achim Hauschild gave a presentation on the topic of processing repair orders. Human Resources Manager Carsten Deter then gave a presentation on human resources management, and answered questions on recruitment and long-term staff retention. The afternoon session was dedicated to an in-depth tour of the GRANIT PARTS warehouse, during which departments such as incoming and outgoing goods were presented in more detail.

On the second day, the class visited the FRICKE agricultural machinery workshop in Heeslingen and learned more about the SAPHIR machine construction division at the Bockel site. The last item on the agenda was a visit to the FORAS gardening and landscaping experts in Zeven. The feedback from the students was extremely positive, with teacher Ulrich Müller summing up as follows: “We would like to thank everyone involved for the fantastic organisation, and the valuable input that our aspiring technicians will take away from these two days. It was particularly exciting for us to gain an insight into how such a large company develops procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.”
